ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The BBC have become almost trumpian in their defence of the right wing establishment and their pet project Liverpool FC over recent years.

Brushes at the ready - the 'Vintage 1985' whitewash out again this morning.
Still plenty leftover from the Athletico Madrid incident....

I put Cilla, Stan Boardman, Jimmy Tarbuck and Ken Dodd in the cool column.

Genuinely can't stand "are Cilla". The woman who draped herself in the clothes of Thatcher when she made a few quid, and changed teams from Everton to LIverpool to fit in with her new Tory mates. An utter embarrassment and a real shame nobody took her statue down in the city centre. It's a monument of shame.

Any other title win has been more valuable than the asterisk season title.

They know it and it kills them. No social media video of scores of lads 'avin a laff and partyin' and carrying a flare or two can cover that fact up.

It was won with a Chelsea win in an empty stadium; the trophy will be awarded to them in an empty stadium; there will be no tour of the city.

Barren, sterile, valueless as a spectacle, a footnote in history.

They'll have their telly reports and documentaries to come in the next few days and weeks. But 2019/20 is a write off. 30 years wait and it's the equivalent of a burst balloon.

Can we close this thread now? I'm over this already. Maybe start a new thread tho. We can call it "fears of witch hunt against liverpool fc part *"

Nah. Because its gonna be amusing when they socially distant lift the title at an empty Ethiad where you can hear dogs barking outside the ground.

You see, this is the kind of pic that really gets up my japs eye.
How old are those kids? Compared to us they've known nowt but success so how easy to smirk at us or anybody else. They've known nothing of how to support your team like we've had to.
So my anger is directed at the club. Why haven't we had anything for our young, and not so young fans who've stuck with the team since our last success.
I do hope that Moshiri and Co see what's going on and ffs bring some silverware soon.
