Brands has been a mixed bag, however, DOF isnt like manager. You dont chop and change till you get success, you have to have patience, and allow them time to shape the team. We are still reshaping the first team and background operations. No one can honestly say, Brands has conclusively shaped the club the way he wants to. He has come to new league, with tough expectations and one where players find it harder to adjust than any other. By now he should be more aware of the skillset required in this league and hopefully we will see fewer transfers that require an adjustment period.

Failing to back Ancelotti will be one of the biggest mistakes this club makes.

No doubt this will happen because Everton.

@ me with a huge line of missed opportunities since Royle left.

Which includes a stadium on the docks, a team that got a cup final in 09 comfortably best of rest and we ended up selling Lescott.

QIA.

Having a world class striker and telling him we are signing X Y Z and we end up with Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie.

“Why are you so negative mate?”.

It has something to do with the back catalogue of missed opportunities and mistakes this club has made since I can remember. When they start grasping opportunities I’ll change my tune.

You just know we'll spend the bare minimum this summer then end up flogging Richarlison the following for big money to give Ancelotti a transfer kitty.

Honestly mate, I don't think anyone knows what is going to happen, how much information is truthful, how much is to serve a function etc. Brands and Ancelotti have said things that, to a certain degree contradict each other etc.

We are at the very start of the process. Technically we still have 1/4 of the season to go, top 6 is still an outside possibility, as it probably finishing 15th or whatever. Both scenarios throw open different requirements and needs.

We will likely have a window running until September, possibly even October. There is clearly a lot of time to go. Stressing out in June before the season ends won't do anyone any good.

And yes if Richarlinson goes, he goes. We will sign other players. I like Richarlinson and hope he stays, but if if was sold for a price where we could go and buy another 3 or 4 Richarlinsons I'd gladly do it. If we want to be successful we need to be a bit more ruthless like that.

end of the day we aint gonna come out and say there is bags of cash to spend as prices will go up like when City or Chelsea try to buy anybody. Carlo has hinted there is major cash there. I aint worried

Tbf had Brands done his job the summer just gone he wouldnt have needed to have spent big this summer.

The Moise Kean signing you absolutely welcomed and have been vaulted numerous times excited that we got him.
Say if it does happen, will it be alright to get mad then?UP THE BLUES!
Yes like a normal level headed person.

I always said we needed a second striker that summer who was in their prime if we were signing Kean as him alone was too risky.

And thats been proven largely right.

but you was happy in getting him and you've already turned on him not even 1 season in.

Because he's been utter tosh - even not taking goals into consideration his all round performances have been abysmal.

Not saying he wont improve but at this stage the most productive thing he's done has been banging strippers during lockdown.
