ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

So are their owners throwing money at them or are they mingebags who are too tight to spend? Genuine question as it appears to be both in here. Schrodingers RS?

Their owners have put a fair bit of money in in the good times. They've broken transfer records, and wracked up a wage bill that is unsustainable. You can probably count on 1 hand the number of teams who'd have a bigger wage bill, in the 100+ years of football history.

Given their are now entering quite astute financial difficulty, this level of investment into the playing squad will not be able to be sustained. Perhaps they will also need to start drawing back the money they put in, or worse still start using LFC to subsidise other failing business. Not sure on that. However the tap will be switched off, and the wage bill probably now reduced.

They've enjoyed the good times, and with winning all that spending will have achieved 1 legitimately won trophy, and won heavily contested trophy that nobody is going to recognise. It's not bad, but it's hardly the world domination it ought to have been given they blew City out of the water on wages.

2020 sign-ups eh.

They seem to get very very angry when people deign to tell the truth. Isn't that right @Tony_Barrett ? What you have to remember is this is not a propaganda site for fascists and racists like RAWK. We are decent civilised people here, who treat black people who suffer racism with respect. It's always worth remembering that when you are on your crusade against truth. Know your audience and all that "lad".

Which bit is clueless then Tony?

You seem very rankled that nobody wanted Mane last summer when Liverpool offered him out for £120m. Madrid cracked up laughing and moved on (to sign the far superior Hazard). His value has declined sharply since then.

In your opinion.

I'm just amused by you in general, you seem to think you're some kind of authority on every subject but in reality you're just a clueless little biff.

You're the same on Twitter, a self anointed football and financial guru without anything to back it up.

As I said though carry on, it's very entertaining.
