ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The RS' hedge fund owners have absolutely no incentive to be splashing out on big fees and wages after the amount invested already.

Klippity Klopp has done all the heavy lifting for them, beyond their wildest dreams.

After another few years, Kloop will either jack it in, follow the money and go to Madrid, or return home the hero and join Bayern or take the national job.

I wouldn't like to be the one following him in the job at The Pit.

The thing is, they've got themselves into an enormous mess, paying out big and long term contracts for players there will no longer be a market to sell.

As you say, if they start having to sell, Klopp as anyone would, would protect his reputation and move on. Bayern are a much bigger clubs than Liverpool, imagine what he could do there? The domino's are starting to tumble.

To be fair to Klopp, he may have his meltdowns and move on, but his reputation at former clubs remains very high. For someone that craves being loved, making a big song and dance about the unfairness of such a move will go down well with the 'club socialists' and allow him a move because he is a man of 'principle' rather than opportunism. Won the asterisk, a CL and got the hell out of dodge before the wheels fell off.

Time to get worried lurkers!

I would love for Liverpool to crumble an start having to sell there main assets. That said I think people on here get a bit carried away look at the money they have got from teams like Bournemouth for terrible players.

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they needed to sell Eddie Howe would give them like 50 million for Origi.

But the squeeze will be on the bank of Howe too. When are the installments due on their transfers in? Could be time for the club to reach out to who they think has a few bob to see if they can manage this. 9 million a week... ouch.

If FSG start pulling the stunts at Liverpool they are doing at Boston he will not be hanging around much longer.

Bournemouth et al will not have money to gift anymore. Southampton apparently need to raise £150m + this summer apparently.

Nobody is giving them £50m for Origi. Most of those deals are heavily incentivised, way lower than the fee suggests and with a big whack paid to agents. Either way, nobody has any money to pay for their rubbish. Someone may take him on loan, if they subsidise his enormous wage.

Hope soo Howe shouldn’t be allowed to spend money again imagine spending 20 mil on solanke. I don’t even get how it’s possible just seems dodgy to me the money he has gave Liverpool for their dross. Also I don’t no I haven’t got a clue about Liverpool’s finances. I just hope they are in a terrible state an they end up doing a Leeds.

Yeah the thing is I never thought they would get anywhere near the money they said they got for both solanke an Ibe. So that’s why am saying it wouldn’t surprise me if teams stumped up money for the likes of Origi an that little Swiss Midget. Hopefully your right tho.

I see the RS have gone full Comical Ali and are putting out the line that their failure to sign Werner is not financial, to try and calm the baying hordes who’d decided months ago ‘it was a done deal’.

From having a look, I think his heart’s in the right place, but he’s said some things that he hasn’t worded/elaborated on very well and it’s wound a lot of people up. In a obscure vein, a lot of it also seems to be related to Bo Selecta with him saying it wasn’t racist and others saying it was. Seems immensely pointless to me, and I don’t see why he’s decided to go to bat for Bo Selecta so heavily
