BBC sports lauding them as a collective second coming and a beacon of righteousness for all the world to aspire to....
At 7.30 this morning they were interviewing the family of a deceased fan and sort of asking questions why the club, but mainly our government had ever let the Athletico Madrid game happen.

I can well imagine that interview. I cringe whenever that sports reporter on Five Live creams over anything RS. He was the one who reminded the listeners that Andy Burnham was Blue when he made unfavourable comments on Project Restart which wouldn’t benefit the RS.

Isn't it odd that the only clubs that you have heard anything about the past few months have been Newcastle and Liverpool?
Newcastle meant to be having a high profile takeover so that's fair enough.
Yet Liverpool? Why so much coverage? I can't think of any other club that has anywhere near that amount of coverage.
I'd love it if they lost the first few games back. Them winning is all but a certainty at this point but imagine the itchy arses if they went into this run losing....

Like I have said to some kopites.
When they do get those 4 points and get over the line, they will soon learn how little people will care about it. If we hadn't hit a pandemic then you'd get the fume from United supporters , some blues and every other set of fans they have manufactured a rivalry with to stay relevant.
I don't think now anyone will care. They know it's happening and most people just want to see their own team play again. so no fan fare other than the media for a while , no fans caring , and it will be forgotten. That's the best bit, people won't remember the romp to the title, it will just be a footnote in a year that people have more important things to remember.

I found this post disgusting, troubling and frankly unpleasant as I was trying to eat. Until I got to the end and thought I could go a crunchy.
I genuinely hate them. I don't say it lightly. They are the only club and fans I truly hate in football and I'm not even an Everton or United fan.
Let's be honest, most football rivalry is petty and squalid. We're all pretty similar when all is said and done, regardless of who we follow. But with that lot it's different. They take everything beyond the parameters of football. As a corporate body, they are loathsome. They're out to get every possible bit of mileage. They are American capitalism at its worst. Their fans are truly cult-like deranged cretins.
The 2019/20 season will always be the title blighted by things greater than football. I'm happy for them to win it with no-one there and when no-one cares. No doubt they've been the best team but the integrity of the season has long gone. It isn't anything like what a 2018/19 win would have been. I can live with that. Their drought is over but in THE most underwhelming manner.

Absolute disgusting shower they are, everton do so much good in the community, do you see our club hiring cameramen at every bloody chance to try and get it splashed over the news? No, because we undertake acts without thinking about the publicity of it all. Even in lock down, that shower make sure there's a cameraman to take a picture of a bunch pf clueless idiots who couldn't care less about the situation.
