ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Just seen this.

Of course they have to show their support.

But like probably 80% of all this nonsense they are missing the point. ITS NOT ABOUT THEM. It's not about anyone from any other creed colour nationality.

Whores of the highest order. They always have to attach themselves to everything don't they. Horrible barstools of the highest order.
Its always a collective with that lot, bet their PR guy made them do a dress rehearsal beforehand in the changing rooms

bellwhiffery of the highest the way they detach themselves from heysel blame others for that and blame others for throwing slabs defend suarez the racist cannibal fanta scruff and lamppost tugger vandalism. wish they would accept certain things everyone can see is down to them.they are an absolute shower of bellends admit your mistakes and move on people will think more of you instead of trying to alter things to suit and blaming others. everything thats currently happening in the news making the headlines they go about attaching themselves to it like a leech does to your gonadds headlines they use for their own gain not the bad ones they're responsible for.

It’s easy to tweet stuff. Oh look we mowed ‘NHS’ into the grass, oh look Brendan is laying a wreath, oh our twitter team throws out a #YMCA at whatever latest tragedy in the world there is.

What have they done for the community? Nothing. They decimated the Anfield area for their own expansion treating the residents awfully. They’ll sell Melwood to the highest bidder despite local objections. They furloughed their own staff. They hiked season ticket prices up to a level even that lot wouldn’t pay. Worst of all despite record profits, universal media coverage, and huge sway over governing bodies they’ve done absolutely nothing for the city of Liverpool apart from exploit them to make money for themselves.

On the other hand we’ve set up a world leading charity, we’re keeping Goodison as a benefit to the community rather than selling it for profit. We’ve frozen season ticket prices for years again at detriment to us. We didn’t furlough our staff.

Yeah but we don’t tweet #NSNO after every single world tragedy so we musn’t be as moral as the socialist shankly reds.

Hypocrisy thy name is Liverpool F.C.

Absolute hypocritical attention seeking. I don't know how they have got the brass neck to use such a shocking, appalling event to make them look good. Pity they didn't give Evra the same respect. And, as many have said Heysel barely got a mention in the media or from the club.

Another thing, amongst the many that bug me about them, is how their scummy fans went after Mason Holgate and eventually found tweets from when he was 15 after he alleged racism from one of their players. I'm convinced that episode knocked him back considerably.

I utterly despise them.

Is right. Although one thing they tried to do for the city was trademark its name.

But the buffoons in the media lap this up with gusto, and they know it. It's mutually beneficial.

They got first mover advantage on this now.

If City, Utd do it, they are copying the RS and their gesture can't be as sincere.

If we made a gesture, it would be ignored as irrelevant.

Everything they do, there is a special clause for them.
Is right.
BBC evening news shows them kneeling around the centre circle.
It's maybe just me, but the fact the melts are all facing the camera cheapens the stunt even further.

Not surprisingly a comment I put on the daily little Englander story about being hypocrites has been removed
