You're probably right but a lot of people have died and there are a lot of angry friends and relatives left behind. It's going to be how that anger is focused. The Tories are negligent and that's impossible to deny. The likes of LFC should have to face the consequences of their actions too.
We're heading towards 100,000 deaths and that will be difficult to brush under the carpet.
I couldn't agree more more. But let's talk politics. L
Can someone please explain to me how the Moto gp in August has been deemed unsafe to ahead and postponed,
Yet football is safe?

Dunno mate its madness to me. I am struggling to comprehend all this. Somehow its being rushed through that the PL decide their fate but all other sports have to await clearance. Something rotten

Have you seen a single doctor come out and say it's safe? If there was, it'd be all over Twitter- RT'd by our loveable neighbours. I know lots of Drs who are reds, not a single one has piped up.
To be honest beside the usual suspects in the media,I havent seen any great push to re-start but neither have I seen a great deal of protest from within the game

Great point. Its all one way propaganda isnt it. The few that do pipe up like Deeney (albeit not a Dr) are treated like a Doubting Thomas . Rotten stinking money and self interest wins in the world of soccer

I know Eva Carneiro was concerned, and theres been a few journals concerned about possible long term effects of Corona on athlete's- but this has gone largely ignored. We never heard Brendan Rodgers was pretty unwell TILL he recovered.. :dodgy:

If they play in Manchester, it's at least less likely for RS to knock about outside.
It's as if the authorities have no idea whatsoever what football fans are like.
Let's suppose the derby is played in Manchester. Do they really not expect any fans, blue or red, to drive down the East Lancs Road (or M62) to be there, added to that the possibility that some City and/or United fans may turn up to cause trouble?
Have they really thought this through?
It's just shifting the issue from one police force to another.
