ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The problem was more letting the Atletico fans come over and walk around the city for 2-3 days. If the second leg was in Spain it would have been postponed or played behind closed doors.

Our inept government are to blame for that game and Cheltenham because they wanted herd immunity and didn't realise how serious the situation was until it was far too late.
Yes, Liverpool are always the victims, They’re never to blame.

They could of raised concerns but where terrified of losing home advantage, if people have to die then so be it, when are people going to wake up to this filthy dirty scum of a club and its fans.
If you listen to the fans of death fc you would think this was all a hoax to stop them winning the league.

Somebody else's fault other than the tricky Reds hey?

Well who'd have thought.

Quite a big issue tbh. Just like the rs weren't forced to play, 49k customers weren't forced to go.
I totally agree with you.

I just think there is a lot of hindsight going on as things changed very quickly that week. I was still getting public transport every day which when I look back I wish I hadn't but the guidelines were not in place. I don't think the game should have gone ahead with any fans, particularly those from Spain so whoever signed off that decision whether it's Lfc, UEFA, the government or anyone else should hang their head in shame.
