Can't agree

Fair enough mate - I've called him the English Shane Long for a while and nothing I've seen from him has changed my mind on that.

He's a hard worker who doesnt stop running and is a nuisance for defenders however he will never be prolific and is limited overall as a striker. Yes he's improved but the bar he set wasnt very high in the first place.

The chances he squandered against the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Brighton Rom would have buried - thats the difference between us finishing in the top 6 and being another midtable side finishing 8-11th every season.

We finished in the top 6 once in four seasons with Lukaku.

Aye but in those 4 seasons we had el clowno brown shoes manage us for 3 of them and the 4th we sold Stones and brought in Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie.

The top 6 back then were also stronger with better managers like Conte, Wenger, Poch whereas now they have the likes of Lampard, Arteta and Solskjaer whilst for the first time we actually have a top drawer manager.

Give Ancelotti the tools for the job Moshiri...

But he has been this season? Do you mean never again? It can't be never because again, it already happened.

No one scores every chance. Blaming our struggles on the people who play well is stupid.

He really hasn't bud - done well for abar 3 months under 2 new manager bounces. Most of his goals have been from De Gea howlers and latching onto defensive errors.

When he starts finishing regularly including converting chances that are bread and butter for your best strikers then I'll join the hype train.

Yeah when you start taking out goals I guess he hasn't scored that many goals.

Lukaku is a mercenary who would sell his mother if he could ,moves club then starts planning his exit for the next pay day and you would have him back ! For how long before he is off again .
Don't forget how he faded before he left .
I understand Richarlison wanting a top striker but we want someone young keen and at least looks loyal .
That's just football mate. To most of them the money doesn't matter as there paid well wherever they play but trophies or at least being able to fight for them matters.

Football is fickle imagine him in our team now I would have him back no danger all goal scorers are divas which he is but he knows were the net is yes can be a bit lazy but hes a goal scorer were screaming out for

I think even we could score when goal keepers are dropping balls or smashing goal kicks off us into their own net.

I think only about 5 of his goals this season have been from him actually scoring without a leg up from a GK or defender putting it on a plate for him.

Wastes too many chances to ever be good enough - our fanbase have accepted mediocrity for too long and continue to do so - its why we kin clapped "Naisy" when he scored against us becuz he ran around alot.

DCL isn't mediocre in the way Naismith was. I mean come on with that comparison.

And no I could not have scored the goal he did against United. Deciding what counts and what doesn't is a weird one when every single one (bar his should have been winner against United) actually did count.
