I think I'll give that one the swerve. Seems Druckmann filling Uncharted Lost Legacy with rampant misandry was just him testing the water with how SJW woke he could go... and that's only 1/3rd of the reason people are going crazy.

I haven’t t gone near the spoilers butseen a few people are giving out in video suggestions that I didn’t click on because spoilers. Do they turn Joel into a buffoon and make him submissive to Ellie. She’s probably a gender neutral lesbian or something.

It's gotten into areas of "you couldn't make this up" from a diversity perspective! unsurprisingly the same "consultant" Druckmann uses (Anita Sarkeesian) also had a big hand in Battlefield V... that went well.

Plot I won't go into, but there is a slim chance some the choices they've decided on work better with context? suspect quite a few will at least hold back from per-ordering initially.

Haven't read anything and won't but find it a bit mad people are making big assumptions (not saying you are) based on plot leaks without having any idea about how the game plays or properly develops. It's a bit like when loads of people lost their mind about Bond being a black female without having any idea of how it fitted into the story or was justified, or in fact whether it was actually true.

I also just don't understand why people read the leaks. Makes no sense to me at all

Morbid curiosity for me tbh, appreciate a lot of people get a lot more invested in stuff than I do though. I remember some serious (and aggressive!) fall outs between colleagues at work when someone would spoil a game of thrones episode.

Game of Thrones was another level. People seemed to take joy in spoiling that

what a shame it looks like a technical marvel the combat and I’m sure it will be well made in every other aspect. First one was another level in cinematics and survivalhorror. I’d say with some critics they will have thier mind made up and will go i extra hard having time to prepare. It’ll be very mixed I’d say. I still think it will be highly rated but it may shave it from being a ten on meta to like an 8 or something.
 
Some of the visuals in the fight scenes in God of War are among the best I've seen in a computer game.

Think I'll give Last of Us another play next, surely can't be long til the new release now.

I've pretty much played f1 2018 to its death, might upgrade to 2019, brilliant racing game.
 

Anyone ever lost saves on XBox one for no apparent reason?
Started Dark Souls this morning and it was like the game reset, asking me to agree the license , then home screen showing a new game with no saves! That is a kick in the baws and no mistake - don't want to say how much I've played this game.

Can someone pls tell me I am missing something obvious? It's on the right profile and the machine has been working completely normally - no crashes or anything like that.
 
I know the Xbox One is generally derided (especially amongst PS4 owners) but the value for money of the Game Pass is really exceptional

I own both consoles but haven't fired up the Xbox for a few months - Got the Ultimate Game Pass today for £1 and the selection of free games is ace - Playing Streets of Rage 4 at the moment but also downloaded Innocence: A Plague Tale, Dead Cells, Totally Reliable Delivery Service, The Outer Worlds, The Outer Wilds, Untitled Goose Game, Superhot and Hellblade:Senua's Sacrifice

Dread to think how much they would have cost me on the PS Store
