Simpe fact is there is a reason why we keep failing and its because if you dont have a top class CF and GK then you'll never do anything - we have neither right now.

Fact is they have only just been promoted and have overtaken us in about 2 years - dress it up as much as you want mate thats the reality.

We have no natural goalscorer, a crap midfield, average defence and a GK who's not commanding or at the races and people wonder why we never qualify for europe anymore or get to cup semi's/finals - its not because of bad luck or bad referee's its because of bad recruitment and the overhype of players not good enough.

Bernard and coleman are other ones who are hyped up despite them not being good enough to start for a team who should be aiming to win stuff / qualify for Europe.

Lukaku at times carried us as he was our talisman, Vardy carries Leicester (interesting that when Vardys goals this season dried up a little Leicester went on a rocky patch despite all their supposed top class talent like Maddison etc) because he's their talisman.

We dont have one - if we did they would be single handely winning us games. Richarlison as good as he is isnt that right now as he isnt an all out striker - stick him alongside someone who's game is putting the ball in the back of the net however and we would be lethal if we then on top of that strengthend the midfield and got in a top keeper.

Until then we'll keep finishing 8-11th every year with our fans overhyping players who are midtable quality.

Because the same folk who have been convinced by a few weeks of goals (some even his most biggest fans have to admit were flukey ie. 2x de gea howlers and 2 defensive mistakes from Chelsea's defenders) were likely the same who no doubt were hoodwinked by Silva following his purple patch of wins against the top 6 last season.

The only thing im guilty of is having high expectations - the day he improves his finishing and scores on a regular basis (and not missing constant one on one's etc.) Is the day he'll have won me over and I'll happily admit to being wrong - but until then he has no right dressing like Tom Davies thinking he has made it.

What is it with you and young footballers' clothes?

Fact is they are on their 3rd/4th season with the bulk of their squad, have spent decent money and should have had something more than the Championship title to show for it

We last made a domestic semi final the same year Leicester won the league, we’ve had a hodgepodge of poor managers, a poor excuse of a DoF who landed his replacement with overpriced tat and 3/4 poor seasons. Leicester upgraded their title winning manager to a manager who won the lot in Scotland and have yet to come even close to winning another trophy despite having a talisman

Wolves have qualified for europe and were in the European spots again this year, consistently beat the top sides and were on course to get into the quarter finals of the Europa League - meanwhile for three seasons running our season has been over by January.

Stick Vardy or Jimenez alongside Richarlison up top and we would be gunning for Europe/trophies.

Last season we scored 7 more goals than Wolves. Conceded the same amount.

This season they've, at present, scored 4 more goals than us and conceded 12 less.

But yes, it is a striker that's stopping us from progressing in the league...

Yes it is - and a competent midfield, RB & GK.

If you think having a top goalscorer doesnt bring you a much higher chance of success than not having one then perhaps you're watching a different sport over in Germania.

The facts are the squad isnt good enough at present and we need improvements in near every area - up front, in midfield, at the back and the Goalkeeper.

If you think we can persist with our current forward options of Richarlison, DCL, Kean and Tosun and qualify for the CL next season or win a trophy fair enough- I personally think we need much more.
