Meaningless and hollow. That's how it will feel when your team are awarded the PL title. But I'm sure you'll still dress up in full kit in your mar's box room and wave your home-made banner that you created during lockdown, just to make it seem that little bit real.

How hard is it to say to Sky/BT its not happening and you can't make us due to Government guidelines.

PFA and FA need to start showing to backbone and putting pressure on the Premier League.

Renegotiate terms of the Media contract and stop the stop this dumb idea.

Sky BT need the PL rights. If they were to sue for the 800 million they think they are owef, then the PL just hands the rights to someone else. SKY and BT go bust. The PL hold all the cards here, they always have.
As for the threat of clubs going bust, 43million is nothing, considering the assets they have on their books. Every PL team has at least 1 or 2 players they could sell to make up the loss.

Yup they will always have to live with the stigma that they were awarded the title. They didn't actually win it.

Problem is even if France relegate teams in the bottom 3 - it wont work here as Villa have a game in hand and would put in a big legal challenge.

Its either play on or null and void - however no doubt the scum will try make 1st place count but none others.

No idea about the rules on Ligue un but I think the prem has a rule that a 38 game season has to be completed for a title to be awarded. If the French league doesn’t have this rule then PSG getting the title doesn’t make it any more or less likely that Liverpool will. If the league can’t restart then the prem need to decide if they go against their own rules to gift them the league.
