We’ve got to back Ancelotti’s judgement whoever he may want. I’d only let Brands sort the contracts not sign players as his stock as a DOF has fallen considerably due to last summer’s window. Bale and James are world class players but are both injury prone. Can you honestly see the physicality of the premier league improving their injury record? As I don’t.

A club that can’t even make Europa signing Bale, can we not be a bit more realistic with these threads. We struggle to sign Premier League class players, never mind thinking about world class.

Can just imagine Bale signing, playing a beautiful through ball into DCL on his debut game only for Bambi to hit it straight at the GK

Can you imagine how you would feel if we signed Bale next season & he spent most of the time on the treatment table on huge wages hardly playing any games....
