IMO the trouble with Everton has been coming for a couple of years now , Moyes has become inept at changing the way the team play , recently he's dipped in with 2 strikers playing upfront (Saha - when fit & Beckford) but then has reverted back to the 4-5-1 when Cahill returned from the Asia cup. I understand that lack of funds has tied Moysie's hand behind his back and restricted him in bringing in new players to change the way we play , but this is no excuse as we have the players currently to play in a different system..

Moyes has known for sometime now that he has not had Money to spend and surely should have opened the door for youngsters to be brought in gently and experience Premiership football. The likes of Kinsella , Craig , Baxter , Duffy , Gueye should of this season been used in some manner to give them a foundation to build on. I don't agree that a player is not ready etc..A player is set up to play football and I would assume that a young player would be hungry to show what they can do in front of a big crowd.

If there was ever a warning siren sounding in Moyes's head would be the dire display at Bolton last Sunday , I never got why he played Anichebe in front of Beckford up front , as Anichebe hasn't even scored this season while Beckford has. I will be interested what team he puts out on Saturday , only a bold and courageous set up will restore my dying faith for David Moyes.

You are assuming you know these players better than moyes when clearly you don't. Obviously he knows them better than you and thinks they are not ready. It's ok saying things are going wrong throw the youngsters in. Let's use common sense now is not a good time to throw youngsters in. You say you don't agree with the saying a player is not ready. I'm sorry mate but you are going against the opinion of every football manager there. And remember hindsight is a wonderful thing. Yeah Anichebe was shocking last week granted however he is being made the scapegoat for that performance when lots of other more experianced first teamers went missing yet these are not the ones being questioned here.

Moyes sees these young players everday i think he will have a better idea than us as to if and when the will be ready to step up to the first team

hindsight it is then. Rooney (and all Evertonians) was crying out for more time on the pitch but moyles gave him bit parts few and far between and the 1st game he played for man u he scored in the CL cup, the same with coleman last season when he burst into the team he could hardly get time on the pitch. Anichebe scored 2 in russia for us but was dropped the next game- what message is moyles sending to the lad, when youre hot you should be in the team no matter what. in this respect moyes is crap at man-management

Spot on. Moyes has his favourite vanguard and sticks rigidly to them. Look at Arteta this year, for instance.

I agree with this , Rooney came onto the scene and Moyes spoon fed him Prem football , I think he was always destined to move on but should of got more Everton performances.

I really don't know what to make of Moyes at the minute , He frustrates the hell out of me with his tactics and selections , I admire Moyes for bringing stabillity on the pitch but he kind of lacks that je ne sais quoi for me at this current time , with lack of funds and a failing season , it's becoming hard to know or to think what will happen next season.

Ofcourse he does , Anichebe is a good example of this isn't he???? I am not going just on his performance against Bolton , he has failed miserably as a prem player and surely any other young player can't do any worse.

That's not the issue , just because you think there is no one better than Moyes doesn't mean there isn't anyone who could do a better job , I would have to do further research like a board would to suggest names , I am not declaring I know all the answers , I am just stating my view , If you don't like it fair dues , It's one opinion out of thousands that Evertonians across the world have , I don't declare to be right or wrong.

i`ll stop sniffing solvents if you start posting stuff without your usual know it all arrogance...... so according to you - rooney got tons of games for us. coleman lit the game up against tottenham (we were 2nil down) and moyes didnt bench him coz it wouldve been madness. Anichebe didnt score 2 in the eufa cup.......... its well known i`m a crap poster Matt but try not to stoop to my level
