Cancelling this season's Premier League

Should football be canceled until August and this season declared null and void?

No need to cancel the season, simply reformat all European competitions, all domestic cups, drop the mid season break.

Oh, and just:

Revise the structure of the Premier League
Ten matches could be cut out of the season if teams played each other once, and after 19 matches the competition split into two 10-team groups with a further nine matches each to determine the title and European places at one end and relegation at the other.

Clubs would lose revenue and television contracts would need to be altered, but no solution will be perfect.

Thats the issue, some clubs could go under.
I can see a few teams up for sale after all of this.

Why not just reformat it to no games with a big ceremony for the rs that lasts an entire season?

So basically lose more money next year so they can have a shiny trophy, everything jas to be about them, theres communities going to lose their clubs, people losing lives and jobs, but as long as they get to scream in peoples faces thats all that matters

Dear, oh dear.

Here’s a better idea.

Cancel football for the duration.

And start from scratch in August if possible, or in August next year if neccessary.

We are facing a crisis not seen for a century....time to stop fretting about finding ways to make the RS champions.

They've been dreaming of an Alternative Premier League for years. Now is their time to shine!

Just give them the effing thing. With all the variables attached it will to me at least be called the Asterisk trophy.
Totally disagree. The asterisk thing would disappear. I remember the 1973 Wimbledon Tennis Championship which excluded the best players in the world and everyone saying it would have an asterisk beside it. Very few notice that now.
