Good news is regardless of how long this hiatus lasts the day when his contract and the contracts of all the other no marks playing for us expire doesn't change.

There's no way there won't be some kind of transfer period. Whether it actually happens during the summer is up for debate but the players won't stand for there to be no movement at all. It might be a really unsettled period of transfers during the season but something is going to happen.
