Could that of been Moyes' last game incharge?

Lots of comments on here about DM not getting out of his seat and screaming at the players to "motivate" them,Please get a grip they are 11 well paid pro footballers who should take some ****ing pride in themselfs and the shirt that they wear

Not a team?

The Manager is as much a part of those 11 as the ones on the pine, and tactics are his responsibility to the team. If any of the 11 are not performing, it's the Manager that should identify that & respond accordingly.

Having not seen the match, I can only follow the comments of those that have and, if he did sit down & shut up for the last 20mins, then that's woeful! How many games have we won or saved in injury time for example? You just don't give up! If 11 well paid professionals hear nothing from the bench then they'll just hang their heads lower & pray for the whistle...regardless of what they're paid.

However, despite all this, I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water!

If the manager isn't at all responsible then erm... what's the point in a manager?

Dictionary definition of a manager:

One who is in charge of the training and performance of an athlete or a team.

In charge of the performance of a team. The team performed poorly. The manager is therefore at least partially responsible, no matter what Damon tells you.

Not to say he's entirely responsible. Everyone's to blame, and that's why we're so crap this season; the manager, players and boardroom have been woeful.

The players dont need to be told this

All the screaming and shouting in the world today wouldent have changed that awful performance from the blues, i do see your point put we are talking about grown men not infants i say they need to man up and start giving a ****

Yeah keep telling yourself that - Moyes is responsible for suddenly Fellaini not being able to string a pass together.

If he did go now - and he wont - then we are nailed on for relegation and no mistake - he is the only thing keeping us from oblivion.

Anyone who thinks he will leave and we will suddenly shoot up the table needs their bumps examined.

Just looking at his body language... dejected... soppy... sad...

Points to a manager whos about to resign.

Why would Moyes go

- He has been building this squad for years.
- The decision wether to sell or buy players has always been down to him.

- If the team are playing badly, he is not blameless.

- What team would take Moyes in all honesty? Any board who did their research would know what type of a manager he is, no one in the top 6 would have him.

- Why would Moyes leave, he loves the game, and that involves bad patches as well as good.

- The money he is earning is also a factor...he wouldnt get that anywhere else.

Everyone turns on each other quite quickly don't they? This must be what the end of the world is like.

No-one covered themselves in glory today. I walked away, ate a cornetto and went to see a movie. It's only a game.

Was at the match today and witnessed 3 fights/arguments in the Everton crowd after we went 2-0 down, amazing how frustrated people can get
