Brighton chairman on the bbc said the following
"If we were to freeze the league it would be incredibly unjust for Liverpool to not be awarded the title, because everybody in the game appreciates what a fantastic season they have had.

Brighton are still in danger of going down, which is why he supports Liverpool, because the Liverpool win the league option, will also include no relegation.

south coast Kopites. If Bournemouth weren’t in the relegation zone they’d be joining the propaganda machine for their paymasters Liverpool. Then they’d be buying Shaqiri for 40 million in the summer.

You mention paymasters and Liverpool. I wonder where a club like Bournemouth get to spend so much on two no mark players from Liverpool, and what effect it has on the rs ffp. Some money laundering going on there.

Contract law is all down to what is written in the rules/contract, common sense, or perceived intention of the rule/contract take a poor backseat to the written words. When we finished 4th, and Liverpool 5th (but won the Champions league), there was no rule written down anywhere that the winners automatically qualified to defend their trophy... But look what happened...


If they can't just award them the title, they could look to even delay next season if it gives enough time to complete this year's fixtures....
I want to believe Liverpool are gonna miss out, but I just don't see it happening as things stand..

So if they give liverpool the title then Leeds will want the title which guarantees auto promotion. Both are not mathematically won.

You cant just make up a mini rule for one club because they are ahead by a big margin

Been going on for ages. Dodgy transfers between Southampton, Liverpool and Bournemouth and then when they play each other they just roll over without a fight. Bournemouth and Southampton both turn up against City like this their world cup final yet when it’s Liverpool they get spanked easily and have keepers throwing it in the net or strikers like Ings and Wilson missing open nets from a yard.
