He clearly hasn’t thought things through, what about relegation etc? Closet kopite.Brighton chairman on the bbc said the following
"If we were to freeze the league it would be incredibly unjust for Liverpool to not be awarded the title, because everybody in the game appreciates what a fantastic season they have had.

That is a joke, it has to be.His dad is a chiropadist and did Bob Paisley's feet in his latter days. He would cringingly refer to "my time at the feet of the master".

You mention paymasters and Liverpool. I wonder where a club like Bournemouth get to spend so much on two no mark players from Liverpool, and what effect it has on the rs ffp. Some money laundering going on there.south coast Kopites. If Bournemouth weren’t in the relegation zone they’d be joining the propaganda machine for their paymasters Liverpool. Then they’d be buying Shaqiri for 40 million in the summer.
Sorry mate, not in contract law it doesn't. Contract law is all down to what is written in the rules/contract, common sense, or perceived intention of the rule/contract take a poor backseat to the written words. If you are doing things that aren't written in the rules/contract, prepare for a whole world of legal/financial pain.
When we finished 4th, and Liverpool 5th (but won the Champions league), there was no rule written down anywhere that the winners automatically qualified to defend their trophy... But look what happened...
If they can't just award them the title, they could look to even delay next season if it gives enough time to complete this year's fixtures....
I want to believe Liverpool are gonna miss out, but I just don't see it happening as things stand..

Ideally league restarts in August we finish this season, then a break, then play the euros in Jan/feb, then a break, then we have the world cup played April/may all over the world, home games at home, away games at the away stadium, semis and final at wembley.
Next August league resumes
Listen very carefully. Can you hear that?If the season is cancelled none of the sponsors will pay, the season has to be finished one way or another, preferably completed out in full or finished as is and the sponsors only have to pay a discounted figure.
