He desperately needs benching. He’s playing so badly that every time he’s in the starting eleven it’s like a self fulfilling prophecy. No confidence, no energy, no drive. If he was benched, might even come on as sub and smash in a 20 yarder like against wolves.

From my calculations we would need to sell him for £18 million to break even FFP wise this summer.

Obviously isnt going to happen so the board need to decide if they either loan him out for the season until next when a paltry sum of £9 million breaks us even in his final 12 months of his deal or if we try get £12-15 million from a club daft enough like Newcastle and take a few million loss.

With us needing to spend atleast £100 million this summer you feel I would just take the minimal loss to the books and get him and his wages out the door.

Given he's 31 in September, is on a huge wage and is on a depressingly downwards spiral in ability, ain't no club in world football going to take him unless it's for free and we subsidise his wage.

Same story for Tosun and Keane too, just they're younger but still crap.

Couldnt we swap him for Iceland? Like we pay him off, he pops back home as some football thing, and in return, we get first dibs on any half decent blond 12 year old player?

I’d rather we just paid off his contract and got rid of him. Take the financial loss because every time he takes the pitch for us we play with ten men.

Keane will go somewhere - 2 years left on his deal, england international, someone like Palace, Sheffield Utd, Burnley etc would take him for around £18-20 million you feel as he suits their alehouse defensive set up.

Tosun wont go until his contract expires and Siggurdsson I feel will only leave if someone like Newcastle wants a "big name dead ball specialist" but again think that would be for around £10-12 million at most given his age.

More than likely a loan deal with him leaving the following season same as Schneiderlin.

We've already got somebody in the side who plays like a blonde 12-year-old footballer.

Physically he is far off the level. You can see when he tries to get up to top speed and he just can´t compete with the opposition. Basically starting every game a player down.

Will he go? U/S crud wish we could just rip up his contract - not performing.

He never plays out wide really. Certainly not as a wide player/winger.

Iwobi is just as bad, Kean isnt there yet, nor is Gordon and Walcott I assume had a knock or something.

I far from love the bloke but there are reasons why he is in the side right now, I would assume (hope!) it's not some failed masterplan by Ancelotti and he is purely there due to limited options.

Scratches head to think of one single reason...
