I sure it reads she committed a violent act.Had she said that.I haven’t stated that she was found guilty, William.

Not trying to be smart or contradictory but from what I’ve been told (by survivors of attempts) it’s the time when you are most at peace with yourself as you’ve made the decision and you’re troubles are gone... weird I know but I’ve spoken to lots of people who’ve been ‘that person’ and they mostly all say the same.
You said she committed a violent act. Technically, she is only suspected of committing a crime/act as a JP or a jury never convicted her of such.

Sound but that still doesn't prove her guilt. How many people do you reckon have said it was them under duress. How many people change their minds once they can have time to consider it without pressure. She was not found guilty in court, and that is the only fact.
Hitting a person whilst they are asleep causing what sounds like a pretty decent injury is a rather serious charge.Yes she broke the law, probably her first major offence, she may have faced jail time or she may have got a suspended sentence/community service being a first offence. The poor girl was more than likely fearing the former and how it would affect her future career but in no way would she have avoided going to court nor would have wanted to, that fear coupled with the press intrusion and the social media backlash ultimately led her to take that tragic decision on Friday because despite a big network support of friends, colleagues, family even her partner, she felt that was the only way to deal with it
Fine mate but still not in court. It doesn't matter want else is said she was not found guilty of anything, because of circumstances but still that's a fact. Her own admission, combined with statements of the victim and the evidence collected at the scene certainly gave the CPS a strong case.
As has already been alluded to, her solicitors probably advised her that a custodial sentence was very likely as she had chose to plead not guilty.

And again you know that how? It’s a fact but it matters very little when that’s clearly the main reason she took the action she did.
And again you know that how?
Honestly, why is this such a big deal?
