Got to be massively regretting not finding any reinforcements in the last window if the Champions League places now goes down to the 5th spot

Yes they will, and CAS have already shown very little back bone in previous decisions. I suspect there'll be either no ban (suspended) or it'll be reduced to one.

City are also questioning the objectivity of the investigation process and final decision, so it will be interesting how they go down that avenue.

UEFA have inadvertently strengthened liverpool's hold on the premiership and in Europe, just by doing this. Who else is going to challenge them and how many players will they lose.
