Get a tens machine, with different settings ( about 30/40 quid ) they can work wonders for stuff like this.

They sell them in the likes of Argos and are dead easy to use.

I`ve had ongoing problems with my left foot from running and the tens machine deffo works in alleviating the pain.
Try plugging yourself into the mains standing in sawdust.....no seriously I have a tens machine given to me st the back pain clinic helps on my bad days .....the same one is for sale on Amazon remember to renew the sticky pads after time ;)

Cheers mate, I’ll see what they say tomorrow and ask if one would help. Cba if they send me to physio.

If you can bear the contact try some direct heat from a hot water bottle..if you've got one and its not covered, wrap it in a hand towel to act as a barrier
You can also use the same treatment alternated with a frozen sports ice pack every 20 minutes every four hours to the painful area moving it around the area.....

Anyone ever had bursitis before? Especially round the hip/lower back area? Cba going to the doctors tomorrow if it is just that but the symptoms are vague online.

Basically above hip, a bit round the back and front is really sensitive to the touch and aches constantly. Can’t lay on it and sitting down even hurts after a while. Maybe done it running/football. Just seeing if anyone has had it and can describe what it felt like.

Can lead to sepsis and be fatal if left untreated.
Actually, that might have been something else

I wouldn't be telling anyone to take 4 paracetamol at once if I'm honest, while in the middle of an exercise.

Two aspirins at night and two in the morning for three days and see how you go. Aspirins by the way not anything else.

Walk for a decent distance every day.

Don't drink any booze for a bit.

Dr Cameron.
