ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Another club, dare I say us , would be hauled in front of the fa for pulling a stunt like that.

Literally right now Liverpool are publically announcing that their manager isn't turning up for games and they plan to field weakened teams in the most senior English trophy tournament. Not calling special treatment here but other teams have been fined for playing weakened teams before, let alone managers!

One rule for Liverpool and another rule for everyone else. All because they desperately want them to win the league. Which sounds like a bitter shout but could ancelotti do the same against Watford and get away with it?
Sorry, but no team gets fined nowadays for playing a weakened side in the cups....even lower league clubs make loads of changes. The FA cup is well down the list of priorities, certainly for prem and championship teams, and to a certain extent, the lower 2 divisions. Fielding below par sides in the league, unless injuries and sickness play a part, is another matter entirely. As I have said before, it is now the FA reserves cup and has been for some time. It shouldn't be, but unless something drastic happens, the premier League will always win out.

I was just about over the Derby defeat, but now find myself angry, not only did we lose to them, but they are basically now saying they don't even want to be in the comp anyway, just to add to the fume factor.
Resign then, reinstate us and we will play Shrewsbury next week. Sorted

I hate them

Blame for that lies at our own door. Feel much the same though.

I may have misheard, but I thought the radio said they couldnt play their 1st team cos the replay is in this winter break thing. That cant be right, surely.

Grief junkies are in full tearjerker mode tonight, no doubt they'll have have his likeness knocked onto a YAWN themed banner for the next home game, held up by some plum in a full kit and bobble hat trying to get his fat speccied grid on the telly ... Classy (n) (n) (n)

Probably be a load of knob-heads turning up to the next home game in Lakers tops and a big Justice for Kobe banner
