The L.C.A.B. / THT Transfer Window Thread ....

Thread Update: This thread has smashed the Donovan thread in pages and replies and has done so in a fraction of the time. I do mean fraction(20 days for this thread, 360+ for LD). With six hours to go until the window closes(my time) the thread only needs 10,000 views exactly to beat the FoD thread. I said earlier today I didn't think that would happen, but after checking and seeing that 11,000+ views since 9:50 this morning until now, I think there is a chance. Strange thread analysis, I know. But it's not like I've had all sorts of incoming transfers to read up on.

whats the fod thread?

That assumes that there was an availability of cheap credit.

Which the drop - across the board of football clubs credit ratings - shows there is no longer.

So that means to do that the debt v potential increase in asset value

- would be poor or simply not worth the risk.

It all suggests that Kenwright can no longer afford EFC. So is preparing for a sale.

Rotten financially ? No more so that the banks and institutions are no longer loaning at rates that a viable for football clubs to take on new debts and maintain on their books.

I'm thinking of going out and sticking £50 on Kenwright to have sold EFC by May at the bookies.

NOBODY WANTS US , Maty .

They KNOW that Bodies are Buried ... They JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE ..!!!

That's exactly the impression I have.

There's a black hole somewhere but it's not public knowledge. That's the only explanation for our financial state, as wages etc. don't explain it.

Someone needs to check for a Swiss bank account under the name of "B. Kenwright".

On the contrary LCAB. Me and THT were discussing this yesterday and disagree with you it seems

Also THT states - that others have wanted us but there's been blocks.

I'm reading the situation as a whole.

And can see that Kenwright cannot afford us. Cannot afford to block these attempts anymore.

And by not taking on further overheads he's trying to tidy things up prior to a sale.

Going on the scale of some of the recent investments in football clubs - the debts that EFC haves are small change. I'm not worried there.

Kenwright just cannot get - credit needed to change the business model. Not only that the availability of said credit is gone possibly for the next 10 years.

Hence he's got no option but to sell.
