No, go back and see where that detour began.

Took that bait like a barracuda, though. Didn't you, Dave?

I have it on god authority he wanted him.

Not a bad source tbf!

“We’re delighted as Oumar is a player we’ve been following for a long time,”

Not my words, but the words of Roberto Martinez who went on to say that he and Kevin Reeves had spent a lot of time watching the player they spent 13.5m on.

I've maintained this line for years. It's not a new thing. I said at the time of RM's sacking that I was informed by a club insider that Niasse wasn't Martinez's choice.

Utter nonsense. Martinez choice 100%.

What really pees me off is that we play two lower clubs and come away with 2 points (4 thrown away). Then Burnley below us in the same period beat Leicester and Man U to come away with 6 points.

Have you learnt anything Carlo?

He will need a load of supernatural blessings to help him through this mess of a squad. Assuming he gets the required blessings, he then needs an injection of a humility drug and then be made to watch the Tuesday game ending, maybe 10 times as a penance. I would settle for that. Joking apart, in football (mostly anyway) all is forgiven and forgotten by the next game. But having said that, I apologise to the several thousand who witnessed the debacle in the second half of the derby game, expecting them to quickly forget it. I don't have to as I did not see it, will not see it and have locked it out. Thinking about that game (which I have not seen anything of), I wonder if Carlo has since thought twice about his terrible tactics in that game? I am of course only going on hearsay and reports about our collapse. It may have been Klopp's sheer genius and amazing youngsters wot won dat game.
I will of course be "getting behind the manager" at the future home games and praying for him at the away games which sadly I do not go to anymore.

Carlo has to take responsibility for the subs but closing up shop isn't new, the responsibility is on the players to see it out. The Niasse sub is the main one I take issue with, Keane and three at the back was the option surely? Or Gordon instead of Davies keep going at Newcastle, the changes made them step onto us. But It's not his fault the players managed to shoot us in the foot yet again, it's not the first time, NINE injury time goals we have conceded this season, that isn't Carlo's fault. But he also deserves credit for 93 minutes of some of our best football this season.

Dave you weren’t informed by anyone, let’s be honest. You made that up.

Four or five in front of me left before the subs! They always leave very early anyway and can probably still say that was an excellent performance, well done Carlo.
