Hah, lets look at some facts. You might want to look away.

Actual spend by Brands:100m net spend. Very conservatively, could sell:

Richarlison: 60m
Digne: 30m
Bernard: 20m
Done, recruitment all paid for with profit without counting the 100m from Mina, Gomes, Gbamin, Kean, Iwobi etc.

In Brands first season he brought in 4 players, and is 4 for 4 in them being worth at or more than paid for them, in Richarlison, Digne, Mina, and Bernard. The only reason anyone has any qualms with recruitment is because we havent yet seen a full season out of Gbamin, Kean, and Iwobi. If Kean scores a few before the season ends, and Gbamin comes back well from injury, even if Iwobi didnt turn form people would be declaring Brands to be the best in the business.
Let me just appraise the situation for you. He...

  • cant sell players
  • is forced to give them away or loan them out
  • buys expensive players who might have 25% chance of being fit and / or decent

Oh yeah. More deep discussions on stadium funding.
Well 30 million just to secure first dibs on naming rights isn't a bad start is it? In the mean time let's get other investors to put the money up for the the build costs.

What are our debts when we include money owed to Moshiri? Just asking. I don’t think we should ignore the money owed to Moshiri when calculating our debt.
It’ll be converted to equity once he completes the buyout of the remaining shares.

There’s no repayment schedule or interest applied to the shareholders loan he’s put in.

Meh.

UEFA are only interested in sponsorship deals with related third parties if they constitute more than 30% of revenue, a figure which Moshiri and Sasha are well aware of, so know how close to the limit they can play it, before they have to justify the numbers against our peers.

Be honest, paying for first refusal on naming rights is a smart way to feed some money into the club.

Whilst our revenue remains around £200m though that only allows USM and it's myriad of companies to put in a £60m. Given that USM are already paying £17.6m for the training ground and the likes of Megafon are already sponsoring us it leaves us with very little wiggle room.

Have you been talking to Esk
