I’m still fairly new to following Everton/premier league but does the league ever make comments as why they didn’t call a penalty, Walcott today for example?
No, we make comments though as did the fans at the match. e.g. VAR as applied is a farce, or words to that effect.I’m still fairly new to following Everton/premier league but does the league ever make comments as why they didn’t call a penalty, Walcott today for example?
Very bizarre, seems as if the league can’t decide what is and isn’t a penalty. A lot of human emotion going into decisions, figured VAR would even that out a bit. Been disappointed so far.No, we make comments though as did the fans at the match. e.g. VAR as applied is a farce, or words to that effect.

Or were the fans disappointed to see Bernard coming off?
Not sure if been mentioned but there was a really weird atmosphere today.
Like a calm before the storm, you could hear almost every word the players were saying which is very unusual, if Brighton scored at any point there probably would have been a riot.
VAR is a farce etc.I bet there are a few on here disappointed though that the team was encouraged and not booed on. Oh and that the atmosphere was not "toxic" as some said they hoped.
Regarding the game itself, since when was that not a penalty against Walcott? VAR is turdish. Also why did Carlo sub Bernard our best player? Was it to defend a 1-0? My Grandson not at the match saw it on TV and said it was a certain penalty. 28 points and 15 to go for safety and ten the cull of rubbish begins (I hope).
