Moshiri isn't lending the money to himself he is lending the money to Everton. Moshiri only owns 77.2% of Everton. So why would he write off Bill's and the rest of the shareholders debt ?

He has probably agreed a price for Bill's shares after a certain milestone has been hit so it doesn't really matter. Once he has bought them he'll own 83% of the club and has already stated he is not interested in mopping up the rest. So one or two might get wealthier off the back of it but no one person holds that many to worry.

Ive long held the opinion, that Usminov is involved in a cartel involved with us with Moshriri as the figure head.

What i would say it makes little sense in him coming on board officially its far easier investing in the club not being involved then being involved.

I think the only thing that would change that is if we crossed the Rubicon and became successful and their was a bit of profile there.

Also if you are part of a consortium it makes sense that not all members are tied up in one single investment, leaves the option for other members to be able to get exposure by investing in football elsewhere if another opportunity came up.

Anyone heard the tale of the USM Deathly Hallows?

The first brother Usmanov wanted unlimited power therefore death granted him the elder wand - Uzzy could smite anyone he wished with the power of his unregulated sponsorship deals.

The second brother Skotch was given the cloak of invisibility and thus is never seen at the Liver Buildings or anywhere Everton related.

The 3rd brother Moshiri was given the stone of resurrection and brought back Everton from being a museum - but once he realised the dough was wasted on Yannick Bolasie and Glyfi Siggurdsson - he went insane.

So there you have it - the USM Deathly Hallows.

Is it easier to circumvent FFP if he isn’t part of the club?

Its easier to invest in a football club by providing sponsorship with the regulations then it is owning it and giving it 100 mill to spend on players. But if your mate owns it, you are involved together, then you have the best of both worlds. Why would you get officially involved in that case, you leave all options open by not being formally involved.

The next steps with the stadium will be interesting though, as much of that cost can be written off in the financial regulations, i have a suspicion Moshiri and co may provide personal equity to the project, at least to some extent as part of the funding model.

Ive long expressed my concern over the finances of the business under Moshiri, they are currently rubbish and the worst in the club history and living in a non drip fed world you would have massive Leeds or Villa like concern. They are however what Chelsea's would have looked like during the Abramovich early era. So we better hope there is outside involvement.

FFP is one of the worst things to ever happen to football. Brought in because they didn’t want little Man City dining at the top table ahead of their chosen elite.

The ironic thing is that Man City are now part of this elite and have taken Man Utd’s place at the top table.

FFP has created an unfair and unbalanced field. Certain teams gotto where they are by spending huge amounts and therefore establishing themselves. To then stop that has left all other teams with a mountain to climb. It's incredibly unfair for City and Chelsea, PSG to have had these advantages that aren't available to anyone else.

It would be fairer if clubs could spend what they like as they used too, if they go bust, tough crap, should have been run better.

Its gotten a whole lot easier since the summer with STCC coming to an end and financial fair play period coming into play. if we had invested wiser and managed better we really should be attacking the league. It should really be good news for the likes of us, Wolves and Leicester, who can now spend a bit more like drunken sailors then we did under STCC.

Our finances are a mess though if you are looking at strictly through running a good viable business.

As long as the owner writes off the debt each year then who cares. That protects the club from unscrupulous owners and allows clubs a chance to dine at the top table. The football pyramid will be ruined in a matter of years as the PL will be that + the same maximum 10ish clubs.
