I don't post too much here - more of a reader at my age! - but one of my sons does and another on a Liverpool site, he is a red. Supposedly they are going weak on Sunday with the team on the site he posts on rumoured to be as per below. I claim no inside or itk contacts, just passing on.

If we press that defence, we might as well give up.

That would back up the bookies odds - 11/10 the RS.....shocked when I seen that but would make sense if he's playing that kind of team.

Im really not assed. Its gotten to the point where its no lose for Everton fans - we are expected to lose so anything more is ammunition whereas that lot cant exactly gloat when they near enough always beat us and are top of the league...

Free hit for them isn’t it.......play the kids, win.......we have to further embarrassment and humiliation.....we win.....it was only the kids....and not a priority.

I don’t care, they play their best team as they see fit and we play ours. It’s been too long and too hurtful to worry about anything other than the result. I’m old enough to remember them celebrating winning the two legged final of the ScreenSport Super Cup at Goodison without stopping to think about why that trophy even existed to care about whether a win over a reserve Liverpool team at Anfield represents anything other than a win....if if is to be that way.

We have to turn up and play our game as if it matters as much to our first team as much as it matters to our supporters who have been let down far too often by our recent performances over there....then we can talk about whether the respective merits of any teams selection on the day. Free hit or not for them, it’s a game that we have to turn up and show some pride and have a real go. The result will be the result.
