I figured getting in close is better, get him down to one life but he always gets me on the 2nd.
Absolutely. Its actually hard to get out of the mindset of running away and dodging in fights especially if you've played the Souls games before. The best tip for that game is to be confident. You have to try to win comprehensively rather than just survive and attempt to whittle them down. Standing still and blocking is usually a better defence than running away.

That sounds good but when they can get through your blocks, can kill you with one or two hits, everytime you go toe to toe you get caned.
Chipping away is the only way.
If you time your parries perfectly your posture never breaks even if the bar is full. For the big attacks you can't normally parry, you dodge/counter the thrust attacks and jump over sweep attacks. The beauty of the combat is if you react in the right way at the right time, you'll never take damage. That sounds good but when they can get through your blocks, can kill you with one or two hits, everytime you go toe to toe you get caned.

What is the matter mate.Just had a live chat with EA to sort out some issues.
Wow.. that's hard work. Over an hour it took of troubleshooting. Got there in the end though.
Went and bought Witcher 3- never played any of them before, and most complicated games I've played were the recent Assassin's Creeds. Any tips, lids?

Its third-person perspective like the AC games but the movement and combat is more deliberate. Instead of stealth mechanics to get the edge, you can use Witcher signs (magic) and potions and blade oils - especially effective against monsters. And don't miss out on playing Gwent. The best mini-game since Triple Triad.Went and bought Witcher 3- never played any of them before, and most complicated games I've played were the recent Assassin's Creeds. Any tips, lids?
