But we had no way of knowing this would happen.. He looks a bit unhappy here, or is it just me?

Think he probably is looking unhappy because he knows he's not playing as well as he knows he has in the past. I'm really scared his injury has messed him up permanently.

I don't think his poor form all season is due to his injury as he was playing brilliantly towards the end of last season.

Scott Parker is the perfect example, looked the bizz, gets a move to a better Club. i.e Chelsea and fails HARD, then drops back to an utter crap team with crap players and shines.

he has been one our best 3 players for years , is our most gifted talent , our highest earner and still has years left in him.he should be just about reaching his peak too.

charlie adam is a good player but he is a flash in the pan who potentially could be the next gazza or potentially be the next francis jeffers.

arteta is worth 11 charlie adams.

How is he a flash in the pan when he has performed consistently the last 2 seaons mate?

Agree with this. Adam is great at Blackpool no doubt about it. But that's at Blackpool. Let's not forget that he didn't exactly set Glasgow Rangers alight when he was there...and that's Scottish football!
If, and it's unlikely, he did join us I fear he will just be Osman Mark 2.
