Suggesting that we have all these fine players at the club is the biggest laugh of all. Again. Look at the table. It's not a manager issue. It's a waste of money issue. It's a case of turning a silk purse from a pigs ear issue. It's simply delusional.

Will these players come good. Actually, I think some of them will. We have a manager who has a history of that. Turning haphazard recruitment into a cohesive unit will be Ancelotti's greatest task.

That's the task he faces. To presume he's taking over a set of players who are ready to compete, let alone succeed. That's a joke. We simply wouldn't be in this position if that was the case. We have a squad of mis-fits and outcasts.

I disagree with you, we have a good squad, at the start of the season we all said top 6. They been badly managed and the mentality and confidence seemed out of them. Not winning 21 games from losing positions. The inability to win away games. The tactical inept of Silva and his... o damn where losing and his 1-0-9 formations he would do as desperation.
Now we have a tactically astute manager, who is an amazing man manger. He will get the best out of this team and fill them with confidence, top 4/6 is still on

It was agreed in the January, after we initially declined PSG's offer, that he would be allowed to leave in the summer if the bid was of an acceptable amount.

To go against this promise would have caused more issues and I suspect the consummate professional would have expropriated into the ether, which helps no one.

We've been in the bottom half of the league. Some posters would have you believe we have this collection of superstars that have been mismanaged. They haven't been mismanaged. They were deemed surplus to requirements by their clubs for a reason. Will they come good? I hope so. There's absolutely no contradiction there.

But trying to turn a group of misfits into cohesive challengers, it's fiction. Turn off your Dirty Dozen TV Christmas special and face reality. We have to catch up to Sheff Utd ffs.

Irrespective, to spend nearly half a billion and find yourself one spot above the relegation zone until recently is an absolute disgrace. It's not just the manager to blame it's recruitment. And systematic of the complete farce that's been endemic in our club.
