I think it's more the case that Liverpool & City are 2 exceptional teams, arguably the 2 best teams of the PL era... The coming years will decide that but not a lot really comes close to what these 2 have done, are doing & will continue to do.

Personally I don’t think they’re close to most of Arsenal’s title winning teams, a few Uniteds and probably 2004 Chelsea. I think City in particular have been lucky with how poor the league has been over the past few seasons and their achievements while impressive haven’t really been contended and therefore cultivated a fear factor that made teams a little too scared of them. Just my opinion like but I don’t think either team are or have been as good as others that have come before.
