Not contributing enough for someone who is supposed to be central to our attacking play. It’s frustrating because he’s got it in the locker to score goals and bag assists yet he goes missing far too often.

He’s got complacent, Dunc had him mov8ng around a lot more in the Chelsea game, but it looks like he’s back to his old ways again. Along with a striker I hope Ancelotti has a number 10 in his sights to.

I know he won the ball back, and his first free kick that leads to the Holgate chance was good.

For me he’s meant to be our creator in chief, and I just don’t think he does enough to be that person.

I agree but the problem is you need a lot more than that from your central midfield pairing. There has to be a bit of invention; Sigurdsson and Delph offered none of that. They largely did the same job as eachother.
