I know we’re short in midfield, but he hasn’t created a chance from open play in 5 (?) games now. Would much rather put Gordan or a kid in instead. Would much rather anyone (except Schneiderlin) really at this point.

Gordon isn’t a midfielder.

I keep hoping he'll pick an injury up so we can play a few games without him and see what it's actually like to line up with 11 men.

Nothing serious just something so he misses games and if we get on a run the penny might finally drop that he doesn't suit our team. Silva almost did it but was then spoiled when he came on and scored a goal at the end of the West Ham game which made his stats look good without actually meaning anything.

Must have missed that form and if your talking last season it was fits and starts and seldom meant anything. He has been average at best his entire Everton career.
