That takes us to 12 draws, out of 23 games, which is now the undisputed highest in the league with Fulham managing a win today.

For comparison, we finished last season with 13 draws, the one before with 12 and the one before that with 8. We're on course for a new club best!

At least we're good at something, right?

Anyway, on a positive note, that could have been even worse, I guess. At least we got something... Bily should have started imo, but at least he got some time anyway. And when he can do that with his weaker foot, well, THAT IS WHY YOU GET BILY ON FFS!

On a less positive note, I'm fairly confident with only 15 games left we've buggered this season up for good now. The RS have overtaken us again, and that's indicative of just how pants we are. Arteta is embarrassing himself now, and Moyes is too, by sticking by him. Bily on the left, Ossie in the center and Mikel seeing a sports psychologist or something, for the next game please.

Surely Bily has to start against Chelsea next week, I'd like to see Rodwell in for Arteta but Ossie would do if needed.

It is well and truly depressing that we can't even manage to beat West Ham once this season, despite being one of the worst sides to grace the Premier League.

It is what it is..

West Ham are not an easy team to play on their day..

No more excuses though... Moyes either starts Bily, or explains to the fans what the lad has done behind the scenes to not warrant a start.

That's been said hundreds of times this season, mate, but he never does.

That's the crux, really. What to do with Arteta. Should he be allowed to play himself back into the form we all know he's capable of or should he be dropped? More to the point, will dropping him be the best thing for him psychologically?

A kick up the arse or a public humiliation?

YOU decide!

I bet you anything Moyes ignores the negatives, and focuses on Seamus' miss; "If he'd have scored that we probably would have gone on to win it" etc etc.

Well here's a preemptive [Poor language removed] YOU MOYLES.

I think Arteta should be sent to Spain for a week or two.. clear his mind.. We can play a couple without him..

Didn't Mancini do that with Tevez with good result?

If we'd turned up for the first 70 minutes, we would have won as well, but even if Coleman had scored, then we would only have been papering over the cracks. It was a shocking performance against the bottom of the league side. We shouldn't need to rely on a 22 year old defender-turned-winger to be winning games for us.

You drop him, or you change his role. Simple.

He stood by Saha for months and months, to no avail. Then he changed to 4-4-2, and immediately Saha's turned into a completely different person (did you see his turn and shot earlier!?!?). Arteta though is only being played in the center of midfield; his role hasn't changed one bit. And if that doesn't change then neither will his form.

The idea that form can't change without changing role. It can and does.

Or am I missing something?

Yeah.

I'm not saying it can't mate, players' forms change all the time. But what I'm saying is that we're now 23 games in to the league season, and Arteta still hasn't turned up. It's not a run of poor form now, it's most of a season. He needs a different role, because he can't seem to learn to work alongside Fellaini. And like someone else said, Felli is the better of the two and is playing well, so Arteta needs a change. Further up the pitch, on the wing or on the bench. I don't care, just give the CM role to Osman so Bily can play.
