As per usual didn’t watch them (never do, and that includes recent derbies to avoid the inevitable). Much easier just checking full time score (I checked at 90, but then had to wait another bleedin half hour to check the damage).
It’s a great trophy to win, definitely elevates them having that FIFA badge on the jersey (cousin has it on a Barca jersey which looks class). The world club title is much rarer to win that the CL, and it’s the only trophy they hadn’t won (think United have won the complete set too). You don’t get many bites at the cherry when it comes to winning it, and It will get even harder to win when it expands.

I see they've completed a signing in December again, as per Van Dijk. How is it that the limits of the January window don't apply to them, and they seem to just hoover up whoever they want beforehand and nobody questions it?
And another thing - just why exactly were they allowed to postpone their game at West Ham today just because their first team aren't available? I can't remember another time when a club postponed a game because they hadn't got players available, or at least without incurring some kind of punishment. They should have had to play it with the kids just like the Villa game. After all, they chose to take the whole squad over there, nobody forced them...

Never believed the whole doping accusations some thrown around but it is a little odd how good they are isnt it?i mean not even clubs like Barca, City or Real look like they can touch them despite their being a good 4-5 in their starting 11 that is average to Everton level at best.
