Embedded Youtube Videos don't work in Safari on OSX

Any YouTube videos which get embedded into a post appear as below when you click play, this never used to happen but I've been experiencing it for a couple of months now. The same videos work fine in Chrome so maybe its some kind of compatibility issue between this forums software and Safari ? The same videos play fine on other forums when using Safari.
