in our situation it‘s the ‘safe’ appointment I expected Moshiri to make. I’m not the biggest fan of journeyman players or journeyman managers but we are certainly in a relegation battle and I would hope he can organise the team well and work with Brands on reinforcements.

I'm sure Carlo Ancelotti, winner of 12 major trophies across 5 different countries, would be thrilled at your description of him as a safe journeyman.
