What Everton needs is its fans to wake up and smell the massive cowpat crushing the roses. Because right now, our board of 'investors' are getting off incredibly lightly.

It means nothing mate - we all know our history, and it's not about wallowing in despair, but we have to concentrate on the here and now.

There's a reason we don't wave upside down scarves and flags at Goodison, because we don't need to. Each and every one of us knows that the club is special and don't really need to be told to remember it.

I think that's the crux of why people have gotten upset here - it's the "just remember" line you've added. Saying that, there's a fair few in here who have COMPLETELY gone over the top on the attack in this thread.

And I don't moan, I think I like to say I critique good or bad. Just happens to be a bad season. If you were in here a few years ago like a goat and davek were you'd notice things and peoples moods change every season, every game. Get used to it.

If I knew my history? Ah yeah mate, I'm a passive Evertonian. That Dick Dean fella was great and stuff.

You're a good bloke Matty. You know your stuff, you've got the right intentions and you make good points. But it's times like these you grate on me. Anyone who questions the club is a "Ted", anyone who raises something you've got no answer to gets a vague, tangential response.

Who made you the voice of the true Evertonian? We all love the club, we've all got our own ideas of what's right and wrong. But you have no right to imply anyone is less of an Evertonian because they don't share your optimistic/delusional approach to the facts. The present day facts, not the fact that we were the first to sell pasties on a match day or whatever useless stat you've got.

I'm proud of our past, I envy those who got to experience it but nevertheless I'm grateful to be an Evertonian. I wouldn't change it for the world. But I can see the people at the helm don't care as much as we do and that hurts, and that pisses me off. So I'm sorry Matty, another read through of our honours list doesn't cut it for me. Like alot of Evertonians piss and moan and do fk all else. Alway have.He´s fkn right ,theres loads tha do nothing here but moan and whine ,saying the same thing over and over and over and over .We fkn know like you know the history ...sugar daddy seeking quick fix mongers and as soon as anyone try to inject any sort of optimism or cheer yous all jump in.If it´s that bad why fkn bother?
