But they busted all that on Makoun and Bent, still rating our chances for this, especially on the back of that metro article. Still, Olly doesn't seem to want to let him go and who can blame him?

Now also, for the buddhists, i have incense with the scent of lcab farts for sale: Lavendel.

Haha . Good line , but I STILL doubt it , mate .

HE would want to , though , I believe .

Agree with all of these points. I think sometimes people forget how much influence having a mucker at a club can have and this could be the key to us getting a "name" in (hence why I didn't dismiss the idea of Pip to Spurs straightaway when we knew Becks was gonna be knocking about.) We've all been collared/sucked into doing things by our mates at some time or other. Wages are obviously a huge factor and all that but if the lads got a mate already at the club, it's got to IMMEDIATELY make the idea more attractive to them. Hoping that some of our current lot can push some buttons and perhaps convince potential star signings not to demand ridiculous wages and GET ON BOARD. Or maybe this is just too simple.... Ah well. It's a nice thought I guess

We'll see , lad .

Welcome , mate .

Can never have too many great young centre backs.

And this lad weve just got is like 6 ft 2. I imagine Moyes is thinking him and Duffy could be monsters together in the air

Bullseye.

This lad Dier is the new Mustafi. Why the fanfare of trumpets? And why on earth are we wasting energy pursuing players we have in abundance in the squad/youth set up? Duffy for one looks like he can be top quality.

Sorry, dont agree. This Dier lad is like 6 ft 2 or something. Duffy is slightly taller? If they both fulfill their potential they could both be the pairing for Everton FC in the future.

Distin is on his way out, age wise, Heitinga will probably leave the club at some point.

I see no problem with having a wealth of good defenders coming through, this is great news.

Well i had read that Moyes does rate Duffy and thinks he will turn into a quality CB in years to come, and this Dier kid does sound like he's highly regarded aswell but him, Duffy and Mustafi are around the age of 17, 18 and 19 arent they?.

And i get what your saying with Distin knocking on and Heitinga possibly leaving and if thats the case then how long will Disitn have left in the game, 2 or 3 years?.

So in 2 or 3 years time Duffy and Dier will be 20, 21 i think and i cant really see Moyes putting one of them in the heart of the defence at that age with no experience of first team football unless one of them does turn out to be outstanding?!.
