While we are being honest, I honestly think he is a major player in our team, showing more and more passion for the cause. OK he goes down a lot but so do plenty of modern mostly foreign players these days.

Tough one Wat, I can see why he's put out wide because he wants goals and that's great if your wide attacking players are scoring. Upfront back to goal I'm not impressed.....but facing goal he sticks his head on all kinds, its a dying art for striker's and they are bloody beautiful goals to score.

Today, he laid off, made a run and got in front of his man and planted a beauty, proper striker's finish.

Maybe this 2 up top malarky that everyone said had died 20 years ago has a bit of life innit still

Yes the well known foreign players Harry Kane and Dele Alli are some of the worst.

Don't make him play back to goal. Problem solved. He's too good in the box and too bad not in it to play anywhere else.

I agree which, as per upthread, would mean another with him up top. Like DCL, who had a body on a guy enabling Richy to get free for that header. Midfield was lucky not to get penetrated more today but the two up front worked well together IMO.

It was pleasing he was gutted to come off, least it shows he wants to be out there. Was excellent today and showed why he will be a huge player for us in the coming years.

Exactly. CR7 would often do the same. Only thing that bothers me about Richy is when he sacrifices golden opportunities for a dive. He works tirelessly on both sides of the ball. He was never the problem with this team like some believe.
