He's been done for weeks and during his time in the Prem he's not shown much of why he was supposedly a top target for us. He lacks any sort of influence or tactical knowledge to effect games in which we fall behind and he's got a bad habit of trying to play players in to form when it's clearly not working.
Once again though he was failed in the summer. In terms of money spent then fair enough but when you look at what we brought in (or never) it doesn't really add up when you consider we touted our new DOF as a world class operator. We've been left with an unbalanced squad and fixed none of the issues from previous years.
If there has been no interference from the board then this is just as much on Brands as it is on Silva. Now we find ourselves supposedly on the brink of bringing back a manger that overall did well at the club but had a truly shocking away record at the better sides, has been sacked from his past four clubs and feels a little outdated in a modern attacking game.
