If current circumstances dont change at Everton with cutting wages and selling to buy i think its fair to presume one of the big 4 will be sold eventually ( Arteta,Baines,Fellini and Rodwell)

If one had to go which would you be least pissed off with

At a risk of everyones wrath on here and to put my neck out first...

I'd say Rodwell. Selling him wouldn't make much difference to the team at the moment as he rarely gets a start. He is the future but if we sold him I'd hope there'd be another young dynamo to take his place (Barkley?!).
I also think Rodwell would get a tidy sum off someone like Man United and tha money could be used to get us players we actually need.

Hope that doesn't offend too much. Just an opinion I'd throw out there.

sadly, Arteta... I know his form is a cause for concern but I beleive he'll return to form sooner rather than later. however because he is the oldest and highest earner of the 4 u listed, he'd have to go (I also think he'd fetch the least, especially w/ his wages too).

To sell Fellaini would be crushing, he's the most important player we have now.

As for Baines, he'd be the hardest to replace imo, as its very difficult to find a half-decent left back, never mind one of the his calibre that is not just defensively sound but also has a huge impact on our attacking play.

Rodwell is still a bit-and-pieces player to me at the mo - he has all the attributes needed to become a top, top player but they haven't yet formed to produce one. However, when it does click with him, he's going to worth a hell of a lot more then now, so i wouldnt consider selling him now.

I dont really want to sell any of them tho tbh!

Yeah mate, well if Arteta's form doesnt pick up during the rest of the season I can see us subtly trying to 'offer' him around during the summer to see if there's any interest. We'd save a s*itload on his wages for a start plus say £7/8m in a fee.

And if Fellaini hasnt signed a new deal over the next few months he'll defo be off in the summer, cos i think he'll only have 2 years left and we dont want another Pienaar situation.

The inevitable? What a cheery bunch.I do not think it is The inevitable at all.I think your just making things up to be miserable about .But thats just my opinion.Carry on but remember .......Always look on the bright side of life....

Fellaini going would be the final straw for some people i think namely DM
