I'm saying we could go down even if we do sack him.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but most fans are struggling to see the bigger picture.
I would take Moyes back for 6 months but it wont work. Most managers would struggle.

Home form usually keeps us well away from that end of the table. However our home form is getting as bad as away form and this is a real cause of concern.

Quite possibly in the bottom 3 after Wednesday with us getting beat and Southampton possibly winning. When is the last time we were in the bottom 3 after 15 games, I can't remember, Moyes 2nd season?

Oh I agree but doing it gives us more of a chance of staying up. This fella cannot manage a game thus even if we play well we can't secure a result. This dead man walking stuff does nothing but probably increases instability in and around the club

Sigh....I'm not saying that at all

I am saying the team is crap, because it is. I am saying I don't think many managers would get much out of this team as the make up of the squad is ridiculously bad. This is not saying that Silva is any good. I just think we have bigger issues than solely the manager.
Steve bloody Bruce is doing better with an arguably worse squad. A good manager would get more out of this side I'm convinced do we still have big issues throughout the club yes and is the squad lacking yes, but still we are 17th he has to go, no more excuses.

I'm just not seeing it. We are one centre back injury away from a crisis from a centre back group that isn't very good anyway. Our back up left back has not played for ages, we have nothing in centre midfield at all currently with 2 of our starters being out with a long term injury and our other starter never fit and we have limited options up front. Our best players (other than Digne) seem to be a bunch of somewhat similar players who don't have a settled position who keep getting shifted everywhere (and have been at other clubs not just here under Silva).

We should have enough to stay out of trouble but who knows.

With the run of games to come, we'll be perhaps in the relegation zone proper by Christmas (and can be on Weds I think) and into the New Year.

If we fail to stabilise and put a decent run together no later than early January, then we are in a critical situation.

As it is we will probably be looking over our shoulders for most of the season now at best and that is a horrible feeling. I don't want to have to keep tabs with how Norwich, Watford etc are doing.

Will we be relegated? On mature reflection then maybe not, but who can guarantee that? We're are having the sort of luck with VAR and injuries, coupled with dreadful results and poor performances that tends to tally with sides that just might go down.

Relegation is relegation. If you fail to avoid it due to a single goal on goal difference and finish 17th, its still relegation. It doesn't follow the logic of the worst three teams on paper going down. If that was the case we might be 8th instead of 16th now.
