It’s not about being too big to go down. It’s about the performances on the pitch, points totals, others in the league. Blues are acting as if we’ve got 0 points from 14 games and have been battered in all of them.

Get a grip.
They're really not.

To borrow your theme they ARE commenting on performances on the pitch, points total and getting turned over by others we believe shouldn't been turning us over - Norwich at home being a recent example. Try reading what people are actually saying rather than indulging in an entirely bogus broad brushstroke.

The optimism will be once Silva has been put out of his misery. I know it’s grim right now but it won’t last we will move up soon. We still have a core of good players that are far better than the likes of teams sitting in 7/8/9th right now.

I don't think we do though! We seem to keep kidding ourselves every season, it cant always be just the manager.

Doesn't matter how good they are anyway if the team itself is unbalanced (which it is)

Right now we are mate, I'd call it disjointed, unorganized, players not knowing their role, unmotivated.
A new manager changes those easy things and we'll improve greatly.

Its not that easy though, he cant change the attack because we don't have other options, he can't rebuild the midfield as we don't have enough players in there, we have limited centre back options etc.

Silva has been pretty rubbish so far this season but I don't see an easy fix either.

The team looks and is unbalanced because of the manager. He’s continuing to play players who are failing him week in and week out, our problems run deeper than Silva but he’s not upto the job everyone can see that.

A manager is employed to get the most of the resources he has and to get the best possible results.

14 points from these 14 fixtures it’s just bloody ridiculous. How can there be an excuse sitting in the 17th place?

if he can’t do anything then it’s best to part way for both party.

Sigh....I'm not saying that at all

I am saying the team is crap, because it is. I am saying I don't think many managers would get much out of this team as the make up of the squad is ridiculously bad. This is not saying that Silva is any good. I just think we have bigger issues than solely the manager.

Again I'm not saying that's wrong.

However I am not seeing an easy fix with a new manager either, they should make us harder to beat etc, go back to basics and all that, all I am saying is if I was the manager I would be looking at keeping a small handful of those players.

We average a point a game and are 17th. IF we stick to the average that's 38pts, which is photo finish time.
Any drop in the average in these up coming 'hard games' then we're right in the mix and the deeper into the season you go, the harder it is to make back the ground.

You don't get relegated because you lost the 37th or 38th game, you get relegated because you lost the ones in August and September.

and didn't address the problem in October.

I am probably going to open up a can of abuse here but it isnt just silva. Marcel Brands is in charge of transfers and failed to replace Gana and Zouma.
Silva doesnt have a clue what to do with Kean and Iwobi amongst others because he isnt in charge of who comes in or out.

Exact same thing happened with Koeman being given 3-4 attacking midfielders and didnt know what to do.

Scrap the DoF model, you cant have a manager in charge of a team who he either didnt want or doesnt know what to do with them.

Three managers, one interim, one DoF and we are still in the crap with a team of disjointed players. Spot the common theme.

I'm saying if we don't sack him we are going down
