Chelsea fans were in uproar when he rocked up there. He won a cup in the first season and left with them singing his name. In theory we are in a similar situation with Rafael and the hate is strong. My thought process was, would some people calm down about his past and be more forgiving if we ended the season in similar fashion to Chelsea by winning a cup.
Some people will not take to him regardless because of his past. I think we need to move on from his past.

Well if we’re talking about appointing someone as controversial as Benitez, I’d want to be damn sure he was one... and he’s done nothing years. There was hardly a rush for his services before he toddled off to China

I personally don';t hate Rafael but I'm not sure if he's the manager he was being honest

Agree about his Football, but I also found Moyes football boring at various stages and he seems more popular than Rafael.

He’s not someone I’d really considered, but Bielsa certainly isn’t a “flavour of the month” ffs. He’s been a respected (if lunatic) manager for about 3 decades
