The Silva discussion is separate and unfortunately he is so far from being good enough for so many reason it is sad. Sad because he seems to be a likeable man and most of us wanted him to do well.
I was at the Sheff. Utd game and have been convinced since then he would not last. I would even say that it may have been an indictment of Brands not to have acted already.

The jury is on on Brands for me: completely out of his depth. Moshiri mugged again. The next appointment will confirm it for others.

If the manager isnt utilising the players then of course im going to point at Silva.

He bought us a whole new midfield in the summer and all 3 of them are injured.
He bought us a brand new striker, who is being kept on the bench
He hasnt bought us a single bad player, we could make our money back on every signing hes made, no money wasted
He bought us the best LB in the world

After 3 transfer windows we are pretty much where I expected us to be.

So I will give him 8/10.

I really don't know who was responsible. Although we were chasing Silva long before Brands was appointed it could well have been that he was advising the club at that stage.... or not.
