Pienaar Signs for Spurs...

But surely you cant blame the board for this, you could easily say yak had a bad attitude wanted out and no longer has what it takes and so in turn his value dropped, as for pienar it was his decision not to sign the contract like it was his decision on only stating he wanted a 2 year deal so we could never have demanded a massive fee. As for Gosling yes poor by the club however can't hide the fact he was a proper snide in what he did. Again another example of blame culture when it may not be justified

tbh to blame all parties concerned in every case is probably the fairer judgement.

but it is a series of misfortunate events i beleive we would rather not have had and has left us millions out of potential pocket and 3 players down.

Hopefully this is Bily's chance to slot into the LM position. For me he is better technically than Pienaar so if he can start to match Pienaar's workrate we should be just as productive down the left.

Thing is every player that wants to leave for greed ,and make no fkn mistake thats what it is ,I say fk them.Holding the club to Ransome .And thats what it is nothing less, let him go an rot his @rse on a bench .The way he was recieved and looked after here .How can we as a club give in to ransome? And all this don´t know what he was offered is all me @rse.He was earning 50k plus a week and thats not enough? Greed runs the game .Some on here want to buy into it . I say fk him .

I've already read mate that the City owners are gonna set up their own company and they'l be the new City sponsors. The sponsorship deal will be £200m+ meaning it will cover there turnover. One of a possible number of loopholes which i'm afraid they'l find mate

Nah mate their plan will be to build casino's and hotels at Eastlands to increase funding.

They won't be able to have a sponsorship deal at that level since it would undermine the regulation if they did UEFA would just update the regs to stop AFFLIATED companies (i.e. with material influence >25% of shares) from sponsoring football teams to that extent.

Its all about Bricks and Mortar for most teams now to build up their revenue streams!

I wouldn't even start Pienaar against the s h i t e.. In fact, he wouldn't make the 18 (If this is his last game)

What would that do to Bily's confidence? Get Bily on NOW..

In Moyes we trust!

ok im not sticking up for him here but ok it probs is most defo about money but then again hes not exactly leaving the club with a glutten of silverware either is he!

inter, bayern, chelski and yes even spuds he will have a far greater chance of silverware than here at the mo!

so maybe just maybe its not all greed!

i think we all knew he was going one way or the other. For moyes to change his stance of being willing to let his contract run down might mean there is something in the pipeline...lets hope so. Even if whatever deal Pienaar is going to sign is delayed until next wk, he shouldn't play sunday cos there is no way his head will be right and he might not be willing to put himself on the line in case he gets injured. Osman will probably come in on the left which might not be a bad thing...at least Ossie will give everything. Pienaar doesn't come across as the most loyal of people so we shouldn't be surprised...shame though

I know for a fact that City have been buying up all sorts of business', to address this, ever since they were taken over. They won't have any problems

whats going on now? been reported only one bid was accepted and sky saying spurs are talking to him after chelsea talks failed. have spurs raised their offer or what?

UEFA's regulations actually do place limitations on what “related companies” can offer financially in terms of sponsorship. So that's a gonner.

It'll be a limit associated with "affliated companies" (i.e. a defined % share holdings). They will look at EVERY suspicious sponsorship, share deal, corporate boxing, naming rights - EVERYTHING in the club's accounts.

They can probably try and get round it at the edges but any flagrant breaches .... and ... the regulators UEFA (and their lawyers) are determined this era of over-leveraging and the advantage of English clubs (due to TV money and previous access to cheap debt) - is coming to an end.

Anyone not complying can kiss bye bye to Champions League football.
