Pienaar Signs for Spurs...

If he wanted to stay, he'd have signed a new contract, why you're blaming the board i don't know.

Blame Stevie if you're gonna blame anyone. HE DOESNT WANT TO PLAY FOR EVERTON.

Jags has been courted twice by Arsenal and is still there, and he has signed a new contract little over 18 months ago.

The amount of abuse Kenwright gets is a bordering on libel sometimes, the man has run a steady ship for a long time, players come and go, and more important better players have left, you look and blame the wrong people lads.

I know we're all entitled to our opinions, and thats mine.

Mate, when Big Dunc signed for Newcastle I cried my little eyes out, I thought it was over and we were finished.

But we are Everton, we battle on, keep going, get new players, etc etc, you're right, it happens.

I'll miss Pienaar though.

Bryan, I'm with you

I think the anger towards Bill for Stevie wanting to leave, is based on Kenwright not securing Everton enough money a couple of seasons ago....and not making Everton the team we all wanted right this second...i.e. a Champions League team

Still we're Everton, we'll get by here. I'm not convinced he would have signed, even if we were in the Champions League

Bryan's post sums it up perfectly, pretty much.

He's been a boss little player for us, has Stevie, but he doesn't wanna be here, lets get some cash for him and move on, we have plenty of players that want to be an Evertonian, so lets play 'em.

He would of stayed if we offered him what he wanted, our sly board can't give him the funds, why is Robert Earl there again? That Stallone stunt was good, well played Kenwright

Yeah will miss stevie P...

In all honestly i think the squad needed a 'freshen up' which is why i dont mind seeing the yak leaving (with the hope of a decent replacemnt), although pienaar wouldnt been top of the list of those i wished to see leave.

I guess its time for bily to step up now...

I agree it is time for Bily to step up, but will he get his chance if Pienaar is gone before Sunday. Some how i don,t think he will as i bet Moyes will have Osman on the left and one up front on Sunday. The way things are going ie Yak and Pienaar gone Moyes better be about to pull of the biggest transfer loan in his life and indeed the history of this club or iam afraid he will be come history himself. All this **** before we play that lot across the park helps only them and gives us SFA

Wouldn't mind a few more british players in the team...Sic of these foreigners holding the club to ransom for wage demands..

Lescott? Rooney?

Maybe we need more Spanish and Australian players -- they seem to stay.

Or maybe where they are from doesn't actually make any difference about if they stay or go (although if they can speak English that's an obvious positive).

That's un-possible!

If a bid has been accepted then i take it he won't be playing on Sunday which is a shame.
Pretty sure i don't want him playing if his heart is elsewhere, but he has been one of my favourite Everton players in recent years.
No doubt the lad is quality.

Best of luck to him wherever he's going. Three and a half years of good service for just the price of his wages, player of the season last year, and hasn't sulked this season, despite the open secret of his leaving. I hope he gets the right reaction if he ever comes to play at Goodison again.

I don't think he'll ever play as well again though.

Time to see what that Russian guy can do.

Players leave, it's football. he's played good football for us and he has become a great player since he arrived here and kick started his career. Yes it's a shame but if he wants to leave to have another experience at another club, i think its a good thing. It's just like us, if we had the chance to work for someone else for a new challenge and in a different country with possibly better weather, culture and possibly more money, i know i would. It's not like he's done a Lescott thing and it's come out of nowhere, it's been going on a while now.

I wish him all the best and will watch out for him when he plays. It is a shame tho, i liked the dude he has very deep voice n that lol. I just hope Moyes has someone to replace him coming in soon. If not it will give Bily and Gueye a real good chance to play some games and kick some ass.

Well we have some money now you would assume so it might be used to buy someone? Im with others that Everton is bigger than one man. Moyes will not be gone if we dont get a big player in, be realistic. Yak has been ****e this year and Pienaar has been off for awhile. We all know that. If we get someone like Eagles in with the money and a loan then i would be happy.

Agreed. I cant believe the timing of this announcement. If, as Moyes says, he's still in line for Sunday then why not just get the game out of the way first? It's bad enough we're losing him, but it's worse when you hand Liverpool a boost by destabilising the team to face them.

There's some [Poor language removed] decision making going on at Everton.

without doubt , pienaar is a greedy little ungrateful bleeder.

but , and its a big but ........ he was a good cheap buy , we got our moneys worth.he has served the club well and has been professional in the final months of his contract.

hes going , id rather keep him and him not be so greedy , but he is going and that is that.

becouse of his greed - i dont wish him well , he isnt an everton legend and is not welcome back ..... but im not going to lose any sleep ,diss him or wish him bad luck (like rooney , lescott or gosling) becouse he has done what he was payed to do with 100 % commitment.
i thank him for that.... now i wont take the slightest interest in whatever he does.

side note : not only am i concerened now about our poor transfers in 2 windows , poor boardroom action , finances and hope for future improvements, but also to add to that ....yak pienaar and gosling at prime transfers fees could have netted around £25 million. to get close to nothing for all 3 and having to replace all 3 with no money means its panic stations as far as im concerened.the club really look like there stumbling about in the dark with no leadership ideas or game plan.
